Survey Junkie Review: Is it Legit?

If you need to make some extra cash and you have some spare time on your hands, this Survey Junkie review might be just the thing you've been looking for!

The way that the current job situation is going around the country these days, more people than ever are concerned about how they're going to make ends meet.

Survey Junkie allows you to earn extra income while working remotely if you have spare time.

Instead of spending hours on the TV or playing video games, you can turn those hours into income.

But is it really worth your time to do paid surveys?

In my spare time, I've taken hundreds of online surveys from sites such as Swagbucks. Pinecone Research, InboxDollars, and more.

The pay is usually less than $1 per survey, although it isn't very high. It can be expensive if you enjoy the work or if you need to make your spare time productive.

What is Survey Junkie?

Survey Junkie lets users who are based in the United States share their opinions online, and they pay them.

Every survey earns points that you can redeem for cash or gift cards.

Survey Junkie was tested for comparison to Swagbucks and Inboxdollars. These are the facts.

Registering for an Account

Survey Junkie takes just two minutes to start.

SurveyJunkie.com may ask you for the following information in order to create an account.

After signing up, I immediately began filling in my profiles. Survey Junkie recommends that you complete profiles in order to increase your chances at receiving more surveys and better rewards.

Survey companies are looking for specific types of people to complete surveys.

These questions asked for information like whether I have a pet or what type of smartphone I use.

They also wanted to know where I buy certain products. They also asked how much time I spend watching TV.

Each profile that I completed earned me points. You can click the image above (or the banner below) to visit the official site and sign up to start earning cash pretty fast.

Participating in Surveys

Survey Junkie offered me paid survey opportunities shortly after I had answered the profile questions.

The list of available surveys can be viewed from your account dashboard. Before you click on a task, you can see how many points it will earn and how long it will take. A 10-minute survey can earn 40 points.

Survey Junkie offered me only a handful of surveys at a time. My earning potential was limited by this.

Survey Junkie takes less time and pays less than MTurk. Between profile questions and surveys, 35 tasks were completed before I reached the $10 minimum payout. (The minimum has since been decreased to $5).

One frustrating episode I feel I should mention here is this: After I had completed some survey questions but found I had been disqualified. This happened a few times, then everything went perfectly after that initial hiccup.

If you have ever completed online surveys, this is likely to be something that you can relate to. I've had this happen to me before with Swagbucks too. It can be frustrating when you work hard and don't get the full benefits.

Survey Junkie's survey topics mainly focused on the products and services that consumers buy.

Earn Money for Your Work

Survey Junkie pays one cent for each point you earn by answering surveys. You will receive $1 for every 100-point survey you complete. You will need $5 (500 Points) to cash out.

I chose to receive a PayPal cash payout. You can transfer your rewards to a bank. Your rewards can also be redeemed electronically using gift cards.

These are just some of the gift vouchers available:

Survey Junkie asked me to verify my identity before I could cash out. Survey Junkie requested that I verify my identity by asking me for my home address and phone number.

Survey Junkie's system could not automatically verify my identity, so I had to wait for someone at the company to call me to do it manually.

Complaints

There were many complaints about points not being redeemed on the Better Business Bureau site.

Although there are always user complaints to be found on various ″oh poor me, whingeing, whining, complaining″ sites, I suspect that many of them came from people who didn't want to share their true details.

That type of lack of transparency likely ended up costing those users dearly when trying to gain approval at SwagBucks and failing.

These things happen quite often. The takeaway here is this: ″Don't believe everything you read on customer complaint sites.″

Despite my concerns about being paid, I was able to cash out immediately after manual verification. So in reality, there is nothing to worry about!

Conclusion

Survey Junkie is definitely a legit program that you can earn money from and that pays you. I know this because I've tested it.

However, you should remember, this is not exactly a great way to make a lot of money. But it's perfect if you just need some extra cash that you can make while sitting at home with nothing better to do with your time.

I have had a lot success with this program. There are many other ways to make extra money than completing surveys. Survey Junkie is a great place to start.

Survey Junkie allows you to register and spend some time filling out surveys. You can cash out once you have reached the minimum, and you will be amazed at how much you accumulate!
